Just got this from a vendor:

New Worms Tag Team MSN Messenger and Highlight Vulnerability of Public IM.

A new variant of the Bropia worm has been discovered propagating across users
of the MSN Messenger network and acting as a carrier for a second, more
dangerous worm called Agabot. The Agabot worm performs a distributed
denial-of service attack, similar to the notoriously destructive Slammer,
 Blaster and Sasser worms.

Not sure if it's related, or not.
