What rides on port 27015.... I have had a flurry of activity
today with
people trying to probe my firewall on UDP port 27015!

A game called Half-Life uses port 27015 as default for the server
port. You will probably also come across 27016, 27017, etc, which are
Half-Life servers with customized ports. I had previously responded
to a similar question, apparently that email did not make it to the
list. If you need some analysis help for the Quake2 protocol (that
Half-Life is using, along with other multi player games such as
Quake2, etc), let me know.

Regards,
Frank
