honeyd 1.0 stability issues?

I wonder if I'm the only one which has stability issues with honeyd 1.0?

Basically I experience very frequent crashes with 1.0 on FreeBSD 4.9, 
5.2.1,5.3,  Debian 3.0 (kernel 2.4.18) - which means all machines I 
have tested it on. See some examples at

Any suggestion on how to hint down the issues?
