Hi,I know a tool (IPtrap) which simulates activity on a machine. When running it on ports 20,21,80 by instance, an attacker scanning the machine will find out an Apache and ftp server running on it. It's like an honeypot's korn :) So running it on netbios ports (think it is 139 and 44x on Windoze), it will simulate the corresponding services unning.
You can get it on http://freshmeat.net/projects/iptrap/
