Reference to "tiered strategy"

I recently ran across a reference to Lance using the term "tiered
strategy" in cases where honeypots of different characteristics are
deployed. As I understand it, have some fairly easy to detect
honeypots, so that people who expect to find one will find one.

Using google as my research assistant and the search function on the
honeynet site, I was not able to find an original citation to
reference. Is there a URL? Or has Lance only used this term "in
conversation"?
