He/She was spotted as a phony pretty much immediately, I was even told
the name of the guy behind it within two days of asking on Twitter.

I'm interested to see his BH talk. I guess the infosec folks weren't the
actual targets? Just there to lend credibility to the fed/gov folks who
were?

Also, apparently - having an invite accepted on LinkedIn is now
"befriending"? I would say that having one rejected would be bigger
news.
