I agree. I frequently see blog and forum postings where people complain about Google's warning: "This site may harm your computer". Often times all people want is like a 48 hour window to clean it up before the whole world knows their website has been hacked. This is the same thing. I think they'll get a lot of people complaining. Either "my computer isn't hacked I use (insert current anti-virus program here)", or "what gives you the right to block me from the Internet?" I would like to see some sort of requirement that before disconnecting a user the ISP provides the user with adequate information on how/where to resolve the issue rather than just a notification of immanent service termination. I also think that if Federal law is going to require this they need to couple it with a decent information campaign with plenty of ways for users to have questions answered.
