Yes indeed. Geolocation inside network 10 would be an achievement, if it could be done at all. It mostly depends on CIDR, which came long after those early address allocations.
Haha! Yeah, it would be right up there with geolocation inside 172.[16-31], or within 192.168. Would require more than just CIDR understanding, would require maybe a gypsy fortune-teller.
Does anybody attempt to do geolocation inside network 9, for example - which is IBM? I doubt anyone ever sees those addresses on the Connected Internet.
Seems unlikely; even if those addresses did get exposed here and there, the address-to-location map is presumably both closely-held and rapidly-changing. DC
