"All eyes are on London as world leaders gather for the G20 summit. But protests and direct action arent just taking place on the streets around the Bank of England; they are also taking place online, in cyberspace, as those involved in demonstrations use social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to co-ordinate protests. The internet has long been used by protest groups to organise and mobilise supporters and publicise campaigns. But now mobile technology, allied with social media, is providing a new platform for protest." --clip-- More at http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/financetopics/g20-summit/5090003/G20-summit-Protesters-use-Twitter-Facebook-and-social-media-tools-to-organise-demonstrations.html Juha-Matti _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
