while i agree, i also want to point out that this stuff requires pretty
deep knowledge to untangle.  for just being able to use whois at all,
this user has already distinguished herself as being "smarter than most
users of the internet".  i'd be grateful as hell for a FAQ on this, to
be published under the author's byline at the www.as112.net drupal.
