Hi Gadi, I ran the "patch" yesterday and so far I've seen no sideeffects. Ilfak's installer simply patches the Escape() function in GDI32.DLL, revoking WMF's SetAbortProc handler. I see no reason not to install this. Cheers Peter -----Original Message----- From: funsec-bounces () linuxbox org [mailto:funsec-bounces () linuxbox org] On Behalf Of Gadi Evron Sent: 1. januar 2006 20:40 To: FunSec [List] Subject: [funsec] Ilfak's WMF patch So, anyone looked into it? Problems on any Windows version? Anything stops to work? What exactly does it do? I tend to trust it more than MS's patch when it finally shows up.. but still... I'd like some clarifications if possible. Thanks and happy new year, Gadi. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
