 there are all kinds of stories like that.  There's one that I read years
ago about someone letting his newborn son, or young infant son, die because
he was too wrapped up in EQ to watch his son.  The kid was choking or
something like that and he didn't bother with him...  It's very sad, but
it's not due to the game.

  That poor kid that shot himself that you linked to, he had a list of
problems a mile long, and the mother insists that it's the game's fault....
Not likely.   Perhaps the catalyst, but not directly.  That kid was so
messed up he needed serious medical attention, anything could have sent him
over the edge.

  It's always sad to hear of something like this, and I can't really blame
the parents who want to blame something for their loss, human nature...

Damn there was one issue where someone was selling an item (a sword or
some such), the buyer paid for it, then the seller reneged, so the
buyer found and killed the seller, taking the item, but I cant find it
right now.
