sure, and I go out and shoot people in the head at 500 yards because I play Battlefield 2 and enjoy being a sniper....
Or all those tombs that have been raided, all due to video games...

Oh, I guess it all goes back to Dungeons and Dragons.... Yup, we see an awful lot of people getting killed with
swords in the past few decades

World of Warcraft and Everquest 1/2 are three of the biggest online games as well... I play EQ2 quite a bit (more
than I should really), and it really bothers me when there isn't an orc in my driveway for me to kill in the
morning.... Maybe I should go over to the dunkin donuts instead? I'm sure lots of orc are there!

Sorry... I'll never buy into the "video games are the reason for...." excuses. Especially in this case, do you know
how many movies/books/etc about bank robbers tunneling into a vault there are? Tons of them.... The idea certainly
isn't new....

Ok, I'm off my soapbox.... Sorry for the rant....

BUENOS AIRES, Feb. 12 -- The hostage standoff was stretching into its seventh hour, with hundreds of police officers
surrounding the bank. After negotiating a peculiar swap -- four hostages for some pizzas and sodas -- the captors
inside seemed suspiciously quiet. So police stormed the building.

They found the 19 remaining hostages safe and sound, but the captors had vanished. A hole in the basement wall was
covered with an iron lid that had been bolted shut from the other side. Later, police discovered that the hole led to
a secret tunnel, which hooked into a municipal drainage system that emptied into the La Plata River. It was a clean
getaway.

This and other sucessful bank robberies can be linked to the City of
Villians game. Kids who play these games learn how to correctly invade
banks, stores, and other places.. when in the past they had to follow
the masterminds rule-book which always meant police had the advantage.

Sigh..
