He wasn't much of a hunter though.  Anyone who's ever hunted knows you 
*never* go out of sight of your fellow hunters without telling them where 
you are, and you don't just suddenly pop up out of the bushes without 
checking to see where your buddies are.

Of course, Cheney shouldn't have shot either, until he knew exactly where 
his hunting buddy was, so they were both making major safety mistakes that 
any apprentice hunter should have had drilled into them.
