The entire site is a spoof about a fictious town named Wymsey. The egg story
was an original work from the "Wymsey Weekend Chronicles", a completely
tongue-in-cheek publication. If you found the article from a search, i.e.
went directly to that page, it may not be so obvious. But if you view it in
context, it becomes more clear. Start at:
