There's no reason to fear legal wiretaps, unless you're doing something that makes them want to get a wiretap warrant. Things you *do* need to fear: 1) Illegal wiretaps, warrantless wiretaps, and wholesale hoovering of your network data just because one of your employees is the wrong color or wrong political party, or just because they are worried about "terrorists". 2) Abuse of the legally mandated CALEA infrastructure by a hacker.
