The hidden message behind all of these acquisitions that Microsoft doesn't want you to know: Microsoft is admitting their software is horribly insecure and their solution to the problem is to acquire re-active based anti-malware software to cleanup the crap that got in because their software has more holes than the screen in my patio door. Further, if Microsoft thinks acquisitions will solve all of their problems, why don't they acquire a company with programmers that have some clue about security and it's place in software that is plugged into a network.
