You are right but on the other hand... what would happen to most system-/network-administrators if MS Software would suddenly be secure - or if there would be no kid anymore writing worms and viruses against Windows-Software? I am sure at least 25% of the administrators would be without work, and the rest would have to be ready for earning essentially less money than now. The same would happen to freelancers as well.
