this is weird. A donation service for a criminal. Published by anonymous
mail.

Sasser had been a violation of applicable law in Germany. As such the
intention is totally irrelevant.

respect for the public."

Sasser *has* been done by criminals with no respect for the public.
Don't tell me that the Sasser author hasn't been aware of the
consequences his work caused. Sasser has caused damages and violated
German law. As such the author is subject to claims by victims and the
German prosecution. Period.

I find your "explanation" why this author of a virus should be treated
any different than other authors somehow illogical. The Sasser author
has done nothing to foster security. So there is really no need for the
security scene to support him.
