Why are people on this list so quick to label others as trolls, script kiddies, etc.? It doesn't help you, it doesn't help me, and unless theres people on this list trying to find new ways to make unjustified accusations against others, it doesn't help anyone else. My question was simple and straightforward, but it seems just about everyone misunderstood it. I just want an easier way to do what I do every day. If you don't like it, then get over it. Try this for once: if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all :) I presently use psexec because my employer will not shell out the money for a more sensible solution for software management such as SMS. Again, if you don't like it, get over it. - Chris -----Original Message----- From: Exibar [mailto:exibar () thelair com] Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2004 18:50 To: full-disclosure () lists netsys com Subject: RE: [inbox] RE: [Full-disclosure] Psexec on *NIX At first I thought this request was coming from just someone who doesn't know about SSH, the 'r' services, etc. No-one knows everything and that's cool, but then I thought about it for a second...and now to me this sounds either like someone who wants to ILLEGALLY use other resources on some elses network, wants to write a worm that will access anything he wishes on any network he wishes, or he's simply trolling because he's bored. ahhh, I know, a high school kid who wants to change his grades or impress a freshman or some chick to get laid...well, I've done some funky things to get laid, so I'll give him that one :-) I don't know any UNIX admin that would have a problem using SSH or rshell, etc. Exibar -----Original Message----- From: whiplash [mailto:whiplash () despammed com] Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2004 19:14 To: full-disclosure () lists netsys com Subject: Re: [despammed] Re: [Full-disclosure] Psexec on *NIX Ops...I should avoid drinking too much. <g> I totally inverted the sense of your question. Obviously, you're trolling. -----Original Message----- From: Michael Gargiullo [mailto:mgargiullo () warpdrive net] Sent: Thursday, May 06, 2004 16:57 To: Chris Carlson Cc: full-disclosure () lists netsys com Subject: RE: [Full-disclosure] Psexec on *NIX So you want all the functionality of psexec without installing psexec? You want to remote control any windows machine from your linux laptop? Without rdesktop, vnc, or previously touching any machine. You need to do a lot more windows programming reading or are you trolling. Your digging for a magic worm you can let loose on a windows network, and control any machine you want on it. Any real admin isn't that lazy. If you are for some reason a real admin looking for this functionality, let me know, so I can come over and sniff for your wireless AP, and send random commands to your windows servers as well. Come on...Windows isn't that insecure... ciao _______________________________________________ Full-Disclosure - We believe in it. Charter: http://lists.netsys.com/full-disclosure-charter.html
