ANNOUNCE: spam research mailing list becoming public

The spam research mailing list was started about a month ago, holding
the members of TH-Research (the Trojan Horses Research mailing list,
http://ecompute.org/th-list) while we tested moving to a different
mailing list system from MajorDomo.

Now that we moved and no longer use Majordomo, the spam mailing list
remains without purpose. I decided it has good potential to become a
mailing list for discussion of different issues relating to spam,
dealing with spam, spam trends, solutions (from theoretical and
strategic to implementations for administrators), reporting new online
scams to fellow admins, etc.

As we already have a very interesting and diverse user base, discussion
should be interesting.

The new spam mailing list is of open subscription policy (unlike
TH-Research and AppSec-Research). Anyone can subscribe.
