Hmmm I don't know if this will count for you, but if you can get a copy of office 97... I have a copy which comes with MS Outlook and which requires a service pack to enable SMTP and POP mail. Out of the box it can only talk to MS Exchange servers. Outlook was originally never intended as an internet email client hence, perhaps, some of its designed-in flaws.
