Well that's a stupid suggestion if I ever heard one. You know damn well
that NetBSD users have had plenty of patching to do in recent times. No
matter what operating system a person uses, they're going to have to put
time and effort into keeping it up to date. That's the way it goes.
NetBSD is no better than the rest in this regard. Perhaps you think
otherwise because you see all these advisories for things like proftpd.
Well guess what's in pkgsrc/net. Yes, that's right: proftpd. Want to
lower your chances of having to upgrade some software? Don't install it.
That goes for any operating system.

Comments like yours are useless. It'd be nice if you tried to give
people a good impression of the NetBSD userbase, instead of making us
look like pompous assholes. Save the steam for the next BSD auth thread.
