-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- wtfeva: Whoever you are, thank you for taking the trouble to reply to me. If I would have read anything resembling your comments before I posted, it sure would have saved a lot of hot air. Too bad the press didn't use anything like it.
The remaining question is what is your real interest and motivation?
I do not: 1. work for anyone selling commercial tools of any kind, 2. have any interest in seeing Snort or anyone involved with the open-source and full disclosure movement fail, 3. have any affiliation with anyone in any way connected to the PHC or any other trolling or hacking group. I'd be glad to tell you more about why I'm so enraged and disgusted with the general theme of "people sweeping bad results under the rug to get more government funding", but I can't. Let's just say it's too goddamn close to the bone, so if lashing out and venting at Snort was inappropriate, I apologize. Ironically, your comment re. "if you find something publish it" is at the heart of the problem: I literally can't. In any event, if you'd care to wax equally poetic while vouching for the non-detectability and usefulness of Project Honeynet, I'd certainly be interested to hear it. Not that it matters. If all this still seems like a troll, so be it, I really haven't put much into mastering the spin on this one. M. By the way, unless you're just making a snide Pee Wee Hermann reference, I really have no idea who the Mr. Reuebens you keep going on about is. As delighted as I am you aren't stalking me down personally, no sense in fingering an innocent person over something I wrote. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: MailVault 2.2 from Laissez Faire City http://www.mailvault.com iQA/AwUAP3R+rWM5xTGTuR0REQLUGwCfSI14zV/kCr7Pwsc1jtByh2nGpmUAnjag pwgF5gIi2K+qc2iib4NZMXHg =KL9w -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
