Not me. As always with duplicated emails, compare the headers. Naah, _any_ time there's an email mystery, the first thing to do is get the headers. At the top of the email you'll see a series of "Received:" headers, added by the various hosts that handled the mail, youngest headers higher, oldest lower. You may have to fiddle with your email client to make these headers visible. Or save the email to a file and use a text editor on it. Compare the duplicated emails. Typically you'll see the oldest, lowest, headers the same. These will be the ones added by the poster's system. Moving upward, you'll see at some point two corresponding headers that differ. Bingo. The mail became duplicated sometime after it was received by the host that added identical headers and before it was received at the next hop, where the headers differ. If _none_ of the headers are different, the duplication was at your end, perhaps a procmail recipe that delivered twice. If all execpt the oldest pair of headers differ, you were cc'd or bcc'd by the sender. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Dan Wilder <dan () ssc com> Technical Manager SSC, Inc.
