The problem is that many e-mail virus scanners send a "You are infected"

Some mail scanning utilities such as amavisd-new allow you to specify
a regex pattern of virus names that should not generate the "You are
Infected" warnings you mention. This way you can specify what viruses
spoof the return address so that you are not sending out a mail each time
the virus is detected. If all admins would properly configure their
MTA's then this would not be a problem.
