It is not, not being able to work for the DoD you should be worried about.

No Sockz, not a 'petty attack'.

I don't really know Sockz, but it's a little aggravating to see you post
this to the list. My memory isn't _that_ short. Let's quote your reply
to
him:

" Perhaps if you spent more time actually working on your course and not
hanging in #phrack you'd have known that. "

This is _clearly_ a personal attack, and also quite accurately described
as "petty". Don't insult the intelligence of the list members by
suggesting otherwise.

thanks aliver, but i can hold my own. i wasn't _really_ that insulted by
the
comment. just surprised i spose. i'm laffing about it at the moment cuz
i'm
currently banned from #phrack for reasons beyond my ability to change. if
my
original response seemed a bit catty then i appologise. btw just to
clarify,
i dont claim to be on the PHC. i dont see myself ever being on the PHC.
but
that said, i do support their efforts.

I'm quite willing to go into my reasons off list,

Yes, but you were willing to send this content-free message to the list
denying that you did anything.

This sounds more like an excuse to me, but since it's unclear exactly
what
your talking about I can't say for sure.

meh. i guess what's being referred to here is the content of those posts
after
this one? i thought your story was pretty interesting, though i found
myself
unable to reply in depth without bringing forth examples from my own
experiences, the kind which i am not willing to go into over a public
list.
i'm guessing this problem is what john/immn was also referring to. which
is
completely understandable. suffice to say, i dont envision myself working
for
the DoD :) that privilege was pretty much revoked before i even decided
to
persue a career in politics/whatever. it doesn't bother me in the
slightest.
i cant think of anything more boring than sitting behind a desk all day,
advocating a cause i dont even believe in, just to earn a nice wage.
money has
never been as important as my beliefs, and i dont intend on changing those
priorities any time soon.

realistically who would want to be helping the DoD in its current state at
the
moment anyway. i mean in terms of policy decisions, its completely f*cked
up!
