The "best practice" configuration for VoIP security is to segment voice via its own VLAN. Most IP phones support 802.1Q for this and it has been widely implemented in VoIP evnironments. irwin -----Original Message----- From: Shimon Silberschlag [mailto:shimons () bll co il] Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2004 4:30 AM To: firewall-wizards () honor icsalabs com Subject: Re: [fw-wiz] VLAN Security Has anyone on the group witnessed or implemented such a setup (VLAN per server)? Can you describe what were the requirements and circumstances that drove you to such a design? Did you encounter any problems implementing it, and how were these problems mitigated?
