Folks, A hardy thanks to those listed in this reply and those that replied and are not explicitly listed. Great responces from all. Summary; Almost all agreed that pulling from the inside was the way to go with this transaction, that ssh, stunnel, and or ssl/tls would be a good way to keep the transactions secured within an encrypted protocol. And barring the above that a ftp pull could suffice as a temp workabout till folks see and heed the need to make the transfers as secure as possible.
