How these jobs are composed and merged will vary from place to place
and over time.

Today, I'd suspect that popular lines of division might separate
policy design and specification, internal auditing and internal
control systems management, systems administration, control systems
research and design, and security design consulting for internal
application development. Only the largest of organizations will
want to break things down as far as possible; small shops will have
all these roles and more filled by the same small group --- or
individual.
