The real question is: how would your webserver get a virus? In almost all cases Webservers that aren't used as workstations and don't need (for some inexplicable reason) to run any externally contributed code do not need any virus protection software. Lock down the webserver - there are documents that tell you how to do this, depending on the OS / server type - and then sleep peacefully.
