Proxying MS pptp through a FW?

Do any of you have some good references for how to proxy Microsoft's PPTP
through a fw from a Win98 system?

The only reference I've been able to find on their site is for setting up
an NT server to serve PPTP via RAS.

I'm particularly interested in port numbers, protocols, and so forth, as
one would need to know to set up a plug proxy, or a 
packetfilter rule.
