Before you select a firewall, one think you might want to do is think about
what kind of firewall you want:

1) appliance firewall (hardware & software bundled...Nokia)
2) software firewall (AXENT, FW-1)
3) enterprise software firewall (like a software firewall except it has an
enterprise management console)
4) personal firewall (for your desktop)
5) personal appliance firewall (only a few of these)
6) embedded firewall (a firewall that you install on top of a router like
Cisco IOS)
