There is, or at least was, an ftpd available for SSLeay that
worked transparently with a corresponding SSL-enabled FTP
client, as well as with non-SSL clients. It may be in a
contrib or applications subdirectory of the source archive. I
haven't played with it for a couple of years. OpenSSL may have
something similar, too.

Try www.ssleay.org (currently down) or www.openssl.org.

Hi,

Thanks to all of you,

I am searching an elegant way (even cheap-commercial) to configure an ftp deamon that authenticate the user on an
encrypted connection. I read about some "plug-in on wu-ftpd but I forget where...
I want to understand wich ftp client could use SSL or certificate...

Let me know your experiences and point me to some links..

Thanks
