Hi Jan,

Try Celo SSR Communicator. I am just testing it and think that it could
help. It creates strong encrypted SSL connection for nearly any TCP service
so I think there should be no problem with running it on your pop/imap
servers.

Subject: imap and pop over ssl

I am thinking of switching over people who pop their email from outside
the company lan to SSL. I know that some mail readers do pop over SSL
and some do imap over SSL (some also do both and some do none).

[Maybe in the long run will have everyone do SSL, even internal users]

I would like hear people's experience in doing this. Did you have to
standardize on a single mail reader? What sofware are you using for the
server? How many users are you serving (IOW: do you have enough CPU to do
crypto on the fly for many users).

Feel free to reply to me only and I'll summarize. Thanks,
