-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 If those 3 to 4 different locations are each behind routers, would placing firewalls at each site and creating an encrypted extranet between them with the web server behind one of the firewalls and inaccessible to the public be secure enough? Considering that Cisco's IPSEC tops out at 56 bit encryption, would that 56 bit crypto provide sufficient protection or is there a higher size key/algorithm that would be better, perhaps running on the bastion hosts? - -----Original Message----- From: Alex Melichar [mailto:emfu01 () holyrood ed ac uk] Sent: Saturday, December 05, 1998 3:45 AM To: James D. Are all the users at a single location behind a router that would connect to your site?
No, i believe there will 3-4 different locations, several miles apart from each other. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 5.5.5 for non-commercial use <http://www.nai.com> Comment: All Spammers Are Thieves - Jail Them Now iQA/AwUBNmlSzTAufbtGOmgdEQKmwgCggor4xuksDYffK7Hj+SNhVH6qr/oAn3P6 34G5CbUVt1YtarxAzoeBjo/4 =+uo4 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
