I have not seen the opensource version (If you have a pointer let me know
please). The version I have seen has a trial version good for 3 uses
before it clears itself.

ISTM that I have read that the Palm Pilot version is an Open Source
program.  There is also a version, IIRC, for Linux on the Palm Pilot.
