Re: DDNS?

Dave,

We've used DDNS for AD domain control items (_tcp, _udp) and for VDI where
pools are constantly shifting, but haven't branched out beyond that yet. As
we are looking at restructuring our network, we are looking likely at
moving to DDNS for university controlled endpoint networks. One of our
challenges is that currently our endpoints are in the same domain as our
server networks, which requires some infrastructure changes. We are using
BIND.

Good afternoon Sec Pros—

Just curious, how many of you use DNS Dynamic Update (DDNS), and if you do
use it, how is it deployed at your institution?

Thanks,

Dave
