I know they were talking about moving to a virtual format. I'm hoping that
option will work. Obviously, it's a big organizational challenge to
coordinate everything if it goes virtual .

What about making the sessions virtual?  Or at least maybe a half day of
virtual sessions for those presenters who wouldn't mind doing a zoom
presentation.  That way we can keep the spirit of the conference without
completely canceling.

I think at the this point the responsible thing for EDUCAUSE to do is just
cancel the  Security conference. Really can't see how much more
deliberation needs to go on. Most Higher ED institution have limited travel
and closed the campuses to large gatherings. WHO has just  labeled the
Coronavirus a Pandemic to boot. Washington is a hot bed of infections. I
don't get it?
