Blackboard outage intel?

Looks like blackboard is having a major issue, beginning about 4:40 p.m. ET

I'm hearing/seeing rumors, but nothing official.

Their status page is also down: http://status.blackboard.com/

Just curious if anyone has any good info as to what is occurring.
