Dear colleagues,

For more information about the REN-ISAC's Peer Assessment service, please
join us for an informational TechBurst on Thursday, September 19 at noon
(EST). https://www.ren-isac.net/calendar/september/TB%2009192019.html, which
is open to anyone.

Learn more about the REN-ISAC Peer Assessment Service, which will evaluate
your institution's cybersecurity risks, safeguards, and overall environment.
The assessment process includes a preliminary review of institution-specific
documents and practices, a site visit, and a final report with executive
summary, topical narratives, and actionable recommendations for
implementing, improving, and sustaining current best practices.

The assessors are your peers - respected CIOs, CISOs, and information
security professionals from the higher education sector. Because of their
collective experience, they understand the unique cybersecurity security
demands of colleges and universities.

In addition to the general assessment, we also offer six supplemental
assessment areas for an additional fee:

*       Incident Response
*       Physical Security
*       Policies
*       Security Operations
* Standards Gap (compared to NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
* Compliance (i.e. HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, FISMA)
* Objective Review of External Penetration or Vulnerability Scan
Reports
