Job Opening: IT Policy Analyst and Compliance Officer

California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California, Information Technology Services is hiring an IT 
Policy Analyst and Compliance Officer to join the Technology, Policy & Security group.  This individual works under the 
general supervision of the Campus Information Security Officer and is responsible for: coordinating IT policy 
development, guiding through campus communication, review and acceptance processes, implementation, training, and 
compliance at the campus level; maintaining awareness and interpretation of CSU system policies and IT-related legal 
requirements; acting as the liaison for CSU and higher education efforts in IT policy; providing training to the campus 
on related issues; supporting campus IT governance processes; and providing consultation and escalation on complex 
policy issues.

operations, evaluates strategic technologies, and leads interpretation and application of IT policy for the campus.

safety, the Policy Analyst and Compliance Officer is part of ITS Technology, Policy, and Security team. This team 
evaluates strategic technologies, manages campus information security and leads interpretation and application of 
Information Technology policy for the campus.
