Data Privacy Day (January 28) is just a few days away, so this month’s HEISC update focuses on available resources and 
upcoming events. You can also find more info about the 2018 Security Professionals Conference now that the program and 
registration are available online.

Data Privacy Day Resources

  *   Register for Thursday’s EDUCAUSE Live! webinar, “Student Privacy in Higher Education: What’s

2018 Security Professionals Conference (April 10–12 in Baltimore, MD)

workshops will be offered on Tuesday, April 10. The main conference kicks off Wednesday, April 11, at 8 am and wraps up 
on Thursday, April 12 at 4:30 pm.

receive the early bird rates.
