Good morning, I wrote to this list in December 2017 about a Laurentian University research study on higher ed and malware attacks (thread below). I learned recently that the study investigators discovered a flaw in their survey logic, which may have prevented you from fully responding to the survey. The investigators have asked me to re-send the survey link to this list and to ask those of you who have already responded to consider responding again (to answer the full question set). Of course, those of you that haven’t participated and now might like to are also welcome to take the survey. The results from the survey will be shared with EDUCAUSE. If you are interested in participating you can find more information about the research and its goals, as well as a link to the survey, here: https://survey.laurentian.ca/index.php/775774 If you have questions about the survey, please contact Dr. Kalpdrum Passi, Associate Professor, Computer Science, kpassi () cs laurentian ca<mailto:kpassi () cs laurentian ca> Kind regards, Joanna Joanna Grama, JD, CISSP, CRISC, CIPT Director of Cybersecurity and IT GRC Programs EDUCAUSE From: The EDUCAUSE Security Constituent Group Listserv <SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU<mailto:SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU>> on behalf of Joanna Grama <jgrama () EDUCAUSE EDU<mailto:jgrama () EDUCAUSE EDU>> Reply-To: The EDUCAUSE Security Constituent Group Listserv <SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU<mailto:SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU>> Date: Tuesday, 5 December 2017 at 2:45 pm To: "SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU<mailto:SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU>" <SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU<mailto:SECURITY () LISTSERV EDUCAUSE EDU>> Subject: [SECURITY] Laurentian University Research on Higher Ed and Malware Attacks Good afternoon, Researchers at Laurentian University are conducting a study on how Canadian and US universities and colleges have dealt with recent malware attacks.
