servers Patch management

Dears 

 

We are in the process of developing a patch management process for our
servers, we have a total 400 servers (70% virtual) running Windows and
Linux. The objective is to develop a process for the patching based on ITIL
standards.

 

Appreciate if anyone cane share his/her experience on this topic
