I'm pleased to say that we have a senior identity management position open at Simon Fraser University in beautiful 
metro Vancouver, BC.

system and centralized, comprehensive user identity.

The Principal Software Engineer is the chief software engineer for SFU’s identity and security program.  The incumbent 
is primarily responsible for the architecture of the university identity management system, system integration, and 
software engineering of key components.  The Principal Software Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, 
modification, testing, installation and maintenance of application programs, integrated systems, and software solutions 
to meet institutional needs.  The incumbent develops architectural requirements and makes recommendations for change 
through close consultation with our academic and research communities, and through involvement with regional, national, 
and international research and education organizations.   This is a unique opportunity, as SFU launches an update to 
its architecture and components, to achieve the University’s vision of the dynamic integration of innovative education, 
cutting-edge research, and far-reaching community engagement.
