Re: Email Archiver

Hi Harry,

We are using Barracuda email archiver with good result. We are using the physical appliance version but it does come
in SaaS or virtual appliance format. The setup is quite easy for us - we were running on premise exchange and have
just switched over to office 365, and the email archiver works with both scenarios. We purchase the mid-level version
due to our smaller mailbox counts, and so far we don't have any major issues with this appliance. The barracuda
customer/tech support is very consistent and knowledgeable. The price is a little bit on the step end due to our
requirement for a cloud based backup on the emails we are archiving.

Hope this helps,

Subject: [SECURITY] Email Archiver

I apologize in advance if this is not the appropriate forum for this questions, I thought it was the best fit.

Our District is looking at implementing an e-mail archiver. We have approximately 4600 mailboxes. We will be
increasing our mailbox size significantly (from 250 MB to X GB - not sure how many). A preference would be for a
virtualized appliance.

Any recommendations, suggestions, considerations would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance for assistance.

Harry
