HEISC survey on Windows XP EOL plans

Greetings,

As you likely know, Microsoft will discontinue extended support for Windows XP after April 8, 2014, effectively leaving 
those systems unpatched. Some are calling it a "perpetual zero day." [1]

The EDUCAUSE/Internet2 Higher Education Information Security Council - Technologies, Operations and Practices Group is 
collecting different detection and mitigation strategies in order to provide a resource to the community.
