Wow, how bizarre.  I've never had a vendor refuse to provide references.

Consider:  you have the most leverage you're ever going to have right before you make a purchase decision.  If the
vendor is   unable or unwilling to find a way to meet your needs at this point, how is it going to treat you after
you've parted with your money?

Daniel,

Not one reply.  The vendor won't provide references until we have chosen
the product.  They don't understand higher education and I have provided
them some perspective, but I still have no higher ed references.  I'm in a
bit of a quandary as to EventTracker.

Hi Dennis,

Have you selected EventTracker? Did you ever receive feedback from others
on this list?
I am curious about the experiences of others as well.

We are considering EventTracker for log analysis.  I would like to hear
about your experiences with the product, please.  We are considering the
Security Center version.  Any helpful feedback is appreciated.
