Cyber Security Survey

Colleagues on the EDUCAUSE Security List,

 

I am hoping that you might take a few minutes to complete a survey about
your experience in cyber security.  Below is the link to the survey and the

You are being asked to participate in a survey research project entitled
"Cyber Security Task Analysis" which is being conducted by Dr. Nancy Cooke,
faculty; Michael Champion, Shree Jariwala, and Prashanth Raijivan, Genevieve
Dube, graduate researchers, at Arizona State University and Dr. Michael
McNeese, faculty, Nick Giacobe, graduate researcher, at the Pennsylvania
State University. This survey is anonymous.  No one, including the
researcher, will be able to associate your responses with your identity.


 

The purpose of this study is to examine the tasks, responsibilities, and
processes of cyber security. This survey is expected to take 10-15 minutes.
As our thanks for your time to take the survey, there is an opportunity to
enter a drawing for one of  three $25 Gift Card to Amazon.com.  To enter, be
sure to provide an email address at the end of the survey. The winner will
be randomly selected by a third party not associated with this research team
and will be notified by the provided email address.   

 

During the course of this survey, there may be questions that you may feel
uncomfortable answering, or are unsure of answering due to any number of
reasons (such as proprietary information, classified materials, intellectual
property, etc.). For these questions, you may choose to either answer as
vaguely as you would like or not at all. In the event you are unsure if you
can answer a question, please do not answer the question. At any point you
may stop responding to the survey.  

 

Taking this survey is voluntary. You must be at least 18 years of age to
participate in this study.  Your response to the survey questions serves as
your voluntary agreement to participate in this research project and your
certification that you are 18 or older.    

 

Questions regarding the purpose or procedures of the research should be

have questions about your rights as a subject/participant in this research,
or if you feel you have been placed at risk; you can contact the Chair of
the Human Subjects Institutional Review Board, through the ASU Office of
Research Integrity and Assurance, at 480-965 6788.

This protocol has been reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review
Boards of Penn State University (IRB# 309097) and Arizona State University
